Evan is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Inyosi Empowerment and it’s 3 specialist funds.
In 2012 Evan developed the Cadiz Enterprise Development investment as a scalable and sustainable solution to a national B-BBEE need. Evan has been responsible for overseeing and managing the Enterprise and Supplier Development initiatives in Cadiz Asset Management and more recently within the Stellar Group.
Evan completed articles with Price Waterhouse in 1995 and went on to be of the founding members of Cadiz Asset Management in 1997. Evan served as Deputy CEO of Cadiz Asset Management for a number of years and is an industry veteran with almost two decades in the fund management industry.

Richard leads and oversees the investment team. He is responsible for the deal structuring and deal execution at Inyosi Empowerment.
Richard completed articles in 1997 (PWC CT) and spent several years with the firm in the UK and South Africa in Investment Management Audit, Transactions Services and Forensic Services. Richard then practiced as a Director of a medium sized firm of Chartered Accountants in Public Practice.
In 2008 Richard joined the Technology Innovation Agency focusing on support of SME businesses in aspects of funding, financial and risk management, governance, as well as monitoring and evaluation. After a year as Head of Risk at Zoona, a digital financial services and mobile money provider, Richard joined the Inyosi team on 1 February 2018 as Senior Portfolio Analyst.

Kholekile is involved in the managing of the procurement portal through actively interacting with potential beneficiaries to be listed on the portal and marketed to the investors.
Kholekile previously worked at Engen Petroleum for 5 years rising to take the role of Transformation Manager responsible for driving Transformation initiatives including heading up the BBBEE Verification committee for the broader company. Before joining Engen he worked for the RCS Group for 7 years.

Tania currently heads the Inyosi Marketing and Sales division, assisting companies seeking to invest in Inyosi’s Enterprise and Supplier Development solutions.
Tania attained her Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning from The University of Stellenbosch Business School. Tania’s career in the Financial Services industry began in December 1996.
Tania spent 13 years at Metropolitan Holdings as a Senior Broker Consultant when she was head hunted to join Cadiz Asset Management as an Investment Consultant. When the Cadiz Enterprise Development investment was developed in 2012, Tania formed part of the Sales Team. After 9 years with Cadiz, she joined the Inyosi Empowerment team.

Murendiwa heads the Finance department of Inyosi, taking charge of all the finance aspects of Inyosi, including payroll, debtors and creditors.
Murendiwa previously worked at KPMG Denver, Colorado, USA before joining the Inyosi team as a Senior Audit Associate. Prior to this Murendiwa worked at KPMG Johannesburg, where she did her articles and qualified as a CA(SA). During her articles, Murendiwa spent 6 months in the department of Technical Accounting within KPMG where she got the opportunity to work as an IFRS technical advisor.

Currently, Shanon is the Supplier Development Portfolio Assistant. Shanon also supports the Investment Deal Team with the analysis of potential borrowers.
Shanon attained her BCom Finance degree at the University of Johannesburg in 2012. After completing her BCom Honours in Investment Management at the University of Johannesburg, Shanon worked at STANLIB Asset Management for year as a graduate trainee in the Balanced Fund Franchise and 6 months as an Investment Performance Analyst within STANLIB.

Luke de Vries
Luke is primarily involved in the building and maintenance of Inyosi’s Preferential Procurement Portal, but also provides support across departments.
Luke is a recent graduate from the University of Cape Town, having completed a Bachelor in Business Science with Marketing as his specialisation. With the primary directive of “doing good in the world,” he joined the Inyosi team in late 2018.
As a Senior Credit Analyst, Sapna researches & analyzes new lending opportunities.
Before joining Inyosi, Sapna spent some time at Lulalend as a Credit Analyst after graduating from the University of Cape Town (UCT) with a BBusSci is Finance with Accounting.

Suzanne van Niekerk
Suzanne is a Credit Analyst and part of the Investment Deal Team.
Suzanne holds a BCom Investment Management Honours from the University of Pretoria and has successfully completed her CFA Level 2 exam. Previously, Suzanne worked in financial markets at ETM Analytics and asset finance at Merchant West.

Armand is a Junior Credit Analyst on the investment team where his main responsibilities include the post-investment financial monitoring of Inyosi’s loan portfolio as well as the analysis of prospective borrowers.
Armand graduated from the University of Stellenbosch at the end of 2018. Thereafter he joined IHS Markit, where he was responsible for delivering shareholder tracking reports to European listed firms detailing the drivers behind their shareholder movements. He was also the lead shareholder analyst on all ongoing M&A projects in the German market

Monica is a personal assistant to Evan Jones and assists the Inyosi team and Stellar Capital Partners with administration.
In addition to that, Monica assists with potential investor applications and existing investors’ documentation requirements.
Prior to joining Inyosi, Monica worked for ACF as a receptionist and for Stellar Credit as team assistant. Monica completed her final year at the college of Cape Town, whereby she attained her basic office administration certificate and has recently completed a Business Communication course at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
Cindy is currently working at Inyosi Finance as a Youth Employment Service (YES) placement coordinator and Receptionist.
Cindy completed her final year at College of Cape town, whereby she attained her basic business management course, levels N4, N5 And N6. Sindi previously worked as a Receptionist at Matrix Fund Managers.
Karabo is working as a Marketing Specialist and assists with the development, execution, and monitoring of marketing activities.
Karabo holds an MPhil in Science and Technology Studies (STS), Research Management and Evaluation from Stellenbosch University; and a BA Honours in Media Studies from the University of Limpopo.
Before joining Inyosi, she was a Public Engagement Intern at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), South Africa. Prior to that, she was a Communications Intern at the IAU- Office of Astronomy for Development (IAU-OAD) under the auspices of the DSI-NRF Internship Programme. She has also worked as a Marketing Assistant (maternity cover) at the Cape Town Science Centre and as a Freelance Science and Technology Writer for Science Link.
